Imagine a Winter Olympics without any snow. A vision of the capital one credit card commercial where the family is skiing down the rock cliffs due to blackout periods comes to mind. With the winter games due to kick off on Feb 10th, Turn has been holding their breath and praying for snow over the past few weeks.
Finally today they got their wish, and snow started falling on the Sestriere ski resort that will play host to the Alpine skiing races.
The mountain had been making snow full blast, and the Olympic organizing committee said they had emergency plans in place.
